The Thule 982XT Bicycle Frame Adapter for strap and hitch carriers is a cross bar adapter for hard to mount bike frames such as women's bikes, children's bikes, BMX, full-suspension and non-standard bicycle frames. This bike frame adapter creates a straight tube top so that the bicycle can be carried on a hanging style bike rack. It features a telescoping bar that adjusts to multiple frame sizes and style, and padded collars that attach to your bicycle's seat post and headset for a secure hold. As an added convenience, the Thule 928XT frame adapter features easy-to-use push buttons that allow for quick mounting. This bike adapter bar is compatible with most strap and hitch mounted bicycle carriers.
